Located inside Casino Morongo... oh, did we have a tasty breakfast! They have a dedicated breakfast menu that serves until 11 am and then an all-day breakfast as well. My mom and I shared the Cinnamon French Toast.... oh, were those good... only served till 11am, though... and the carnitas omelet. Both were excellent!
Not the place to order steak at. We were seated immediately, which was nice. On the other hand they did sit us down in the area where the bartender was also waiting on tables. He was a bit overwhelmed and did not check up on us unless we called him over. Although I do have to say that he was really nice and he also was able to get my mother a plain croissant with her oatmeal which was nice of him. My brother opted for the All American breakfast with the bone in ham and it was a well served platter. He asked for the bone in ham with lightly cooked hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. His hashbrowns were cooked exactly like he ordered them. I opted for the steak and eggs after asking if that would be a good choice to order and him stating yes. The platter was well served but unfortunately I asked for the steam medium rare and it even had a toothpick stating medium rare. That steak was no where near medium rare it was more like medium well. The waiter was so busy that I did mention it to him but asked not to remake it because it was so packed that im certain they would take forever. Needless to say would I order the steam again, no I wouldn't. Would I come back yes. It was a super clean restaurant and they do offer a variety of dining options. After a long grind at the table games., I pulled a $50 comp around 2:30 am. Ordered prime rib and salmon plate to take back home. Next morning that prime rib hit different for breakfast. Not steakhouse level, but solid. It fills you up, no question. Simple, late night, does the job when you need it.
Lindsay was amazing, excellent costumer service, we seat at the bar and she was super attentive, the food is delicious also cynthia was so cain. We be back soon.
Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I always stop by when I go to Morongo Casino. I like that they serve breakfast all day. It can get very busy but I immediately sat down at the bar this morning. I ordered the Denver Omelette (3 eggs) with toast and orange juice. Everything was excellent as always. Shout out to Joseph who made sure I had everything I needed.
If the phrase "understood the assignment" was a person, it would be my server Shannon. I came hurried, hungry and half-disheveled after a long day and nonetheless I still recieved wonderful service. My prime rib dinner was served as diligently as it was delicious. Shannon suggested dessert, without being pushy, and I obliged. I look forward to coming here again
Update: we’ve returned to try its Italian fares. We had the truffle pizza and the Cajun chicken penne (okay, so they were pseudo Italian fares). Both were quite tasty and filling. The service was excellent and the sitting area was quiet and comfortable. We stopped for a quick lunch and it was enjoyable. The menu featured basically an All-American choices, and I opted for its Southern Fried Chicken with leg and thigh. It was well flavored, but just a tad overcooked. The fresh carrots and asparagus were good and plentiful and as was its mash potato. The highlight of our lunch was our server, Lindsey, who was full of energy, friendly and attentive. Thanks!
We had a wonderful experience at Good Times Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious. The sweet and sour crispy shrimp was amazing—perfectly cooked with a perfect balance of flavors. The fried chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes was incredibly tasty, with the chicken crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The wet steak burrito was hearty and filling, packed with savory goodness. Our waitress, Wendy, was super friendly and courteous, making our meal even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we can’t wait to return!
